Lady Illiad has returned from the Dreaming. I'm not quite sure what to make of her absense, to be honest. But whatever judgment may or may not have been passed against her doesn't seem to have affected her in any way. I'm afraid I can't say the same for Byron, though. He took a bullet to the head; rumor has it that it was a hit put out on him by some Baron in White Sands.
Doesn't suprise me in the least, really.
Princess Lolly's having some success recruiting new soldiers into her army. She and I are working with a troll named Griswald to get placements, numbers and assignments squared away. Our hope is that we can find competent people to garrison the Four Towers in Storms in the likelihood that the Horde should surface with hostile intentions. I believe that we'll be about as ready as we'll ever be here in a few short months. Whether or not we'll have things in place in time for an invasion is still up in the air.
What is not up in the air, however, is the simple fact that we know they're coming. And one way or another, we'll be ready.
